IT ISN'T OVER 'TIL IT'S OVER!

THE SONG OF AN EMERALD DOVE

Xanna Vinson has composed a powerful visionary novel. Its channeled messages tell of an impending doomsday and also instruct its main character to “gather the women.” The resultant group begins a quest for information, guidance, and a means of counteracting the foretold horror. Although late November 2005 was a critical date in this tale that seems to draw from the headlines, the story indeed continues. Emerald Dove

Today’s news seems to be a growing whirlpool of natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and political blunders. Women from all walks of life have been recognizing the symptoms and uniting to take action. Both fiction and nonfiction writers have found themselves in a nexus that is resulting in a global call to “gather the women."

Renowned author Dolores Stewart Riccio, whose works include Circle of Five and Charmed Circle, refers to Vinson’s storytelling as “authentic and inspiring.” Readers of The Song of an Emerald Dove have found a heartfelt truth in the story, as described on its cover:

"It’s worse than a nightmare," she said to the others, "because you wake up and know it’s
real — somewhere, some time... it’s going to be real...!” She reread the message, aloud:

draw together as many of your sisters as you can, for they will be needed for the grave work ahead. there is a big problem // so huge you cannot conceive of it until it shows itself full strength. none but my children can show the world the way to remove this horror. it will take longer than you have ever worked my will in the past, but it must be done.

The group had been meeting for a very long time, not often, but they kept in touch. Psychic messages had presented a crazy quilt of real or imagined threats to their safety, to their world. But who would believe them? Who would care? Someone did. They knew they were being watched, maybe even threatened. But who were the men who wanted to destroy them, and would they succeed?

The Priestesses of the Emerald Dove had special ‘gifts’ and years of training. They practiced magick — and they could be very, very patient. They took careful notes, exchanged interpretations, and they waited...

The Song of an Emerald Dove follows their journey as the predicted events begin to unfold. "I refer to it as ‘a different kind of holy war’ because the women in the story are fighting as an army of eight on the side of their goddess and global survival. The women must use their paranormal talents and their personal courage, patience, and faith to determine the true nature of this threat — and to triumph over it. The climactic tie to the northeast Atlantic shore is riveting. I think it will appeal to a wide range of readers, especially those who can identify with the characters’ need to make a difference, and it will also appeal to readers who are curious about others who work with the paranormal,” says Ms Vinson. “It is most definitely a call to all women."
